AppManager

AppManager is an Apt frontend specifically designed to be used with Debian and the MATE desktop environment, although other environments may work as well.

It differs from Apt itself by only providing search results for packages that provide a menu entry; in other words, it only provides results for applications, and not support packages or libraries or terminal programs.

Similarly, it allows for easy and complete removal of applications through drag-and-drop. If you drag an application from your applications menu onto the window, it will uninstall the package it belongs to along with any unneeded packages it brought with it.

AppManager is licensed under the GNU GPL version 3; full license text enclosed.
